BLOOMINGTON – Sean Miller opened the conversation innocently enough.
Arizona’s coach called Ed Schilling, an assistant at UCLA and the best man at Miller’s wedding. He had a question to ask, but planned to bury the lead.
“We were just kind of small-talking, lamenting about the testing of the (NBA) waters and all that stuff that we were both dealing with at UCLA and Arizona,” Schilling said last week.
