Wes-Del swept MEC foe Blue River in its home opener. Aerionna Strahan led the Warriors with eight kills and Grace Bond added 11 digs and 10 aces as the team evened its season and conference records at 1-1.
Wapahani, fresh off a five-set triumph over Delta, did not suffer a letdown against Union, cruising to a 25-5, 25-6, 25-4 sweep. Annie Schuck and Estella Davis led Raiders (2-0) with 5 kills apiece.
