Fontaine hits 2,000 in career points, but Cardinals drop 2nd straight

For the first time this season, Ball State women's basketball (16-7, 8-4 Mid-American Conference) has dropped two consecutive games after losing to Kent State (5-17, 2-10 MAC) 59-50.

Senior guard Nathalie Fontaine led the Cardinals with 28 points, making her just the second player in Ball State women's basketball history with 2,000 career points.

Fontaine also led the Cardinals with 10 rebounds, her 13th double-double of the season.
