MUNCIE, Ind. — As they talked last week inside of the Northwest YMCA, moments before they’d begin to practice, the bond Tynan Dishman and Maggie Manor shared was unmistakeable.
Just as one may think a prolific No. 1 doubles team should be, the two Delta girls tennis athletes seemed as comfortable around each other off the court as they do on it. At times they finished each other’s sentences, as they talked through memories of their high school careers together. So it likely won’t come as a surprise that they think that bond was first formed back in second grade, at a tennis camp run by Delta coach Tim Cleland.
