Caleb Stayton's Grand Slam Highlights 20-3 Win Over Ohio

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team racked up four home runs, including a fifth inning grand slam by junior Caleb Stayton, on the way to a 20-3 win over Ohio Sunday afternoon at Ball Diamond. The Cardinals scored 37 runs in the final two games against the Bobcats.

Ball State (17-12, 4-2 MAC) scored twice in the first inning and never looked back against Ohio (11-16, 2-4). After scoring two more in the third and fourth innings, the Cardinals put the game away with a six-run fifth inning.

In the fifth, senior Scott Tyler hit his first home run of the season, a solo blast to right field to make the score, 7-2.
