Ball State men’s tennis senior Lucas Andersen was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season while also earning back-to-back All-MAC First Team honors.
He was one of three Cardinals to receive recognition from the league. Fellow senior Andrew Stutz garnered the Jack Vredevelt Sportmanship Award, while sophomore Marko Guzina was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team.
"Lucas, Andrew and Marko are very deserving of these honors," coach Bill Richards said in a release. "It's great for them and our program. Lucas has had an outstanding career performing at an elite level. Andrew's sportsmanship has always been great and it's nice to see the other MAC coaches recognize that.
