MUNCIE, Ind. — With a chance to break an 18-game losing streak, Ball State fell in its 2015-16 season opener at Bradley. A team with 10 freshmen added to the Cardinals' painfully long drought.
As Ball State (4-4) prepares to round out a home-and-home with Bradley (2-5) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, there's a similar pressure to get back on track. Head coach James Whitford was blunt after suffering an in-state loss at home Saturday.
"We're not that good right now," he said. "That's a fact."
