MUNCIE, Ind. — The high school football season kicks off Friday, and it's going to be a fun one. There's a new coach at Central and new quarterbacks taking snaps at Central, Delta and Yorktown. But there are plenty of familiar faces, guys who are entering their third or even fourth years as starters.
Here are some players to watch (listed alphabetically) this season under the Friday night lights:
Brandt Applegate (Yorktown)
Applegate turned in another strong season as a junior with 743 receiving yards and five touchdowns after 695 yards and 10 scores as a sophomore.
