Hagan wins Bristol for 4th Funny Car win of '15

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Matt Hagan won the Funny Car final Sunday in the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals for his first victory on his home track.

Hagan, from Christiansburg, Virginia, had a 4.164-second run at 303.23 mph at Bristol Dragway in his Dodge Charger R/T. He beat Don Schumacher Racing teammate Ron Capps for his fourth of the season and 18th of his career.

"This is such a special race for me," said Hagan, the defending and two-time season champion.
