AUBURN, Ala. -- Former Auburn golfer Victoria Trapani, who completed her eligibility in 2015, will play in her first professional event this week as she competes in the inaugural Toyota Danielle Downey Classic on the Symetra Tour in Rochester, New York.
The tournament runs Thursday-Sunday, July 16-19, at Brook-Lea Country Club in Rochester. Trapani earned a sponsor’s exemption into the event, which was introduced last fall as the first Symetra Tour event in the Rochester area.
“Being able to make my professional debut in such a prestigious event is an amazing opportunity and an accomplishment in itself,” Trapani said.
