SAN ANTONIO - Freshmen Sophia Schubert and Kelli Murphy posted rounds below par to lead Auburn in the final round of the NCAA Women's Golf Regional on Saturday at Briggs Ranch Golf Club.
Schubert and Murphy each shot a 1-under-par 71 as the Tigers posted a team score of 292 (+4) to earn a 12th-place finish in the 54-hole event. Auburn's three-day team score was 876 (+12).
"We saw some pretty good things out of a lot of players," Auburn head coach Kim Evans said. "For what it's worth, we had a great first half of the event.
