Senior Jamie Yun earned a match-play win to help the Tigers defeat Oregon State Sunday.
ATHENS, Ga. –
Senior Jamie Yun, sophomore Michaela Owen and freshman Mai Dechathipat all earned victories to give the Tigers their second win in three matches over the weekend.
Dechathipat defeated OSU’s Ashlee Pickerell, 6 and 4, as she took an early lead and never looked back. She won three of her first six holes and took a 3-up lead to the second nine. Wins at the 11th and 13th holes left her dormie with five holes to play, and a birdie at the 14th closed out the match.
