AUBURN, Ala. – Sira Toure, a sophomore from Kennewick, Wash., has joined the Auburn women’s basketball team after transferring from Weber State, coach Terri Williams-Flournoy announced today.
“We are excited to have Sira join our Auburn women’s basketball family,” Williams-Flournoy said.
Toure, a 5-9 guard, played in 19 games as a freshman at Weber State in 2014-15. She averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds as a freshman and recorded a season-high of 14 points in a game with New Mexico State. She also played in one game this season.
A 2014 graduate of Kamiakin High School, she was an all-state selection as a senior and led her team to a first-place conference finish.
