AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's basketball team wraps up the 2015-16 regular season Sunday afternoon in Gainesville, Fla., taking on the Florida Gators with SEC Tournament seeding and postseason hopes on the line.
The Tigers (18-10, 8-7 SEC) are looking to snap a two-game skid and recapture the form that led them to an 80-58 win over these same Gators (21-7, 9-6) at home just two weeks ago.
With a win, the Tigers would secure a winning record in conference play for the first time since 2009, when Auburn won the SEC title. Auburn could tie for as high as a fourth-place finish in the league, depending on other outcomes Sunday, and after tiebreakers could be seeded as high as fifth in next week's SEC Tournament.
