PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Auburn track and field team continued competition at the 121st Penn Relays on Friday with two top-3 finishes and will send three Tigers to the finals on Saturday.
“All in all, we did pretty well today,” head coach Ralph Spry said. “Jonielle Smith, Teray Smith and Samantha Scarlett all advanced to the finals, which is big as it is very competitive. Marshay Ryan had a pretty solid effort to finish third in the women’s championship long jump. We came in light in a couple areas and ran a couple of relays, but tomorrow we have to come back and have some more solid marks in the individual events.
