AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn freshman Brenda Kigen is set to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships at 11 a.m. CT Saturday at the Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
“Brenda is very excited for tomorrow,” head coach Mark Carroll said. “She has had a relaxed week of training and is fully recovered from the regional meet. She is very excited to compete with the best tomorrow at the NCAA Championships.”
Kigen, who has found success a long way from home, qualified for the NCAA Championships after finishing fifth at the NCAA South Regional on Nov.
