GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 4 Auburn softball team dropped the opening game of its SEC series at No. 2 Florida, 4-3. The Tigers (27-4, 2-2 SEC) had five hits, including two for extra bases, and drew five walks in the seven-inning contest Saturday evening.
Eight different players in the lineup reached base, highlighted by doubles from Casey McCrackin and Courtney Shea, who also contributed with one RBI apiece.
