Five Auburn Tigers were named Friday to prestigious pre season awards watch list. Avery Young and Alex Kozan were both selected for the Outland Trophy Watch List while Carl Lawson, Jonathan Jones, and Cassanova McKinzy landed on the Bronco Nagurski Trophy list.
The Outland Trophy honors the country’s best interior lineman and the Nagurski Award goes to the nation’s top defender.
Although Alex Kozan missed last season due to back surgery, he started all 14 games in 2013 and was named Freshman All-SEC and Freshman All-American. Young on the other hand is considered one of Tigers the most versatile offensive lineman.
