After scheduling three satellite camps in Georgia and Mississippi, Auburn is set to hold a camp in the fertile Miami, Fl. recruiting ground June 10. Auburn has signed 14 players from Florida in the last two years.
Yesterday, the Auburn Football Team lost a four star D-back who hailed from south Florida when Sophomore Tim Irvin announced on twitter he would be transferring. Irvin was expected to provide depth in 2016. The sophomore accounted for two quarterback hurries and 18 tackles last season in 10 appearances.
It’s an unusual occurrence for this writer to commend Alabama’s Nick Saban, but I have to admit it was good to see him participating in the Lutzie 43 Invitational at FarmLinks in Sylacauga this week in support of the Lutzie 43 Foundation.
