The Tigers are eight strokes behind leader, James Madison at 282.
Junior Will Long, who is tied for 10th at 2-under 70, birdied Nos. 1, 3, 6 and 7. Senior Jake Mondy and All-SEC junior Matt Gilchrest, coming off a top-3 finish at the Tiger Invitational, are tied for 33rd at 1-over 73. Mondy, a native of Blacksburg, Va.
