AUBURN, Ala. – J’Von McCormick, a 6-foot, 170-pound guard from Katy, Texas and Lee College has signed his national letter of intent to Auburn University, head coach Bruce Pearl announced Tuesday.
McCormick, who will have two years of eligibility remaining, averaged 18.5 points, 6.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game in 28 contests this past season as a sophomore for the Runnin’ Rebels.
“J’Von’s commitment comes at a crucial time for our program,” head coach Bruce Pearl said. “He becomes our 10th eligible player on scholarship for this upcoming season and I typically play at least nine guys double-digit minutes.
