How Auburn’s two recent JUCO signees could have immediate impact

Wednesday, December 16 was the first day junior college players could sign their letter of intent to play for a university, and Auburn had two players sign on the dotted line that could have an immediate impact next year.

Defensive end Paul James from Copiah-Lincoln Community College and quarterback John Franklin III from East Mississippi Community College both signed their LOIs on Wednesday making their commitment to play at Auburn official.

At 6-foot, 4-inches and 255 pounds, James tore it up in the community college ranks in 2015 with 22 tackles for a loss and 14 sacks.
