Gabe Gross Named Auburn’s 2016 SEC Baseball Legend

Gabe Gross started his career at Auburn splitting time as both a quarterback on the football team and outfielder on the baseball team. When it came down to focus on one sport, Gross chose baseball. He made a wise decision.

Gross was announced as Auburn’s 2016 SEC Baseball Legend on Tuesday, per a statement by the Southeastern Conference.

In a three-year career playing for the Tigers from 1999-01, Gross batted .375, including a ridiculous .430 in 2000 on his way to earning a spot as an All-American. He is still second in school in career doubles (68) and fourth in RBI with 218.
