AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Count Auburn's Carl Lawson, Cassanova McKinzy and Jonathan Jones were among the country's top defenders named Friday to the watch list for the Bronco Nagurski Trophy, which goes to the nation's top defender.
Jones ranked ninth nationally with six interceptions last season, the fifth-most in a single season at Auburn. His interception in the end zone on the last play of the game wrapped up Auburn's win over South Carolina. He was honored after the season with the Zeke Smith Award, which goes to the team's top defensive player.
