“We learned a lot,” Auburn Coach Gus Malzahn said in Saturday’s press conference about the Tigers first live scrimmage of the spring. “After we see the film … we will learn more today from a quarterback standpoint than we did the first seven practices.”
The biggest question on most fans minds is if Malzahn will learn enough from the practice video to draw a separation in his three quarterbacks. Malzahn said senior Jeremy Johnson, sophomore Sean White and Juco transfer John Franklin III all ran the zone read as they took turns working with the first and second teams.
