There are eight conference championship games on this the final weekend of college football before the bowl season begins.
These last games may provide some drama as fans will tune in to see if teams like Colorado can knock No. 4 Washington out of the playoff picture or if Virginia Tech can upset Clemson.
The Okalahoma–Oklahoma State game will determine the Big 12’s representative in the Sugar Bowl. The winner of that game will face either Auburn or Florida on January 2nd.
The SEC’s representative will be revealed during ESPN’s Selection Day special on Sunday. At 11:30 CT the four College Football Playoff teams will be announced followed by the Selection Committee’s Top 25 rankings along with the teams selected for the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and Rose Bowl Games.
