Auburn football plays five teams that are ranked in the top 18 of the AP’s preseason poll.
That includes the top two teams in the poll in Alabama and Clemson. Others include LSU at five, Ole Miss at 11 and Georgia at 18.
Another Auburn football opponent in 2016, Texas A&M, received the 27th most votes in the AP poll.
Tennessee and Florida were also in the preseason top 25 at number nine and 25 respectively.
Auburn football even got a little love from the Associated Press getting 22 votes, ranking them as the 33rd best team in the country.
