AUBURN, Ala. – No. 5 Auburn women’s tennis fell to No. 22 Texas A&M by a score of 4-1 on Friday in College Station, Texas.
Auburn took the early momentum, winning the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. No. 67 duo Alannah Griffin and Andie Dikosavljevic got things started with a 6-3 victory on court two and improved to 12-4 (3-1 SEC) on the season.
Ranked No. 38, Georgie Axon and Caroline Turner defeated Macarena Olivares and Stefania Hristov on court three in a thriller, 7-6 (5).
