AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn track and field team will begin its journey to the NCAA Championships on Thursday as it begins competition at the NCAA East Preliminary Round at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
Auburn’s 25 entries will compete against the top-48 student-athletes in each event with the top-12 advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.
“We have a good group qualified for this weekend,” head coach Ralph Spry said. “Most of our qualifiers have a good shot to get into the NCAA Championships. We have been pretty consistent all year, and we have been training really well, so I am excited.
