The Atlanta Hawks waive Jarrett Jack, good move or bad move?

Jarrett Jack is a seasoned vet who can do a little bit of everything. He does what he needs to do to get the job done. Last season he averaged 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 7.4 assists.

The Atlanta Hawks signed Jarrett Jack in the summer after making Dennis Schroeder the starting point guard. The Hawks needed a backup, and Jack would’ve been the perfect guy for that.

He would’ve been a great guy to mentor Dennis Schroder, and he can start on another team easily if healthy. There was never really a consistent time table on when Jack was coming back, and that played likely played a big part is their decision to waive him.
