Thabo Sefolohsa underwent surgery to repair a right fibula fracture and ligament damage on Thursday, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said.
Sefolosha suffered the season-ending injury during his arrest in New York City earlier this month.
“I think everything went well,” Budenholzer said Friday. “He is in very good hands. Now, the timeline for his recovery and all the steps along the way will be established. … We feel good.”
