NFC South Power Rankings: Week 2 standings

It wasn’t the start the NFC South was hoping for after an embarrassing 2014 campaign. And on the note of embarrassments, the Buccaneers were beaten 42-14 on their own turf by the quarterback they chose not to draft first overall back on April 30. There’s a lot of work to do for Tampa Bay, as well as New Orleans, who also lost in Week 1.

Carolina—the back-to-back NFC South champions—got off to winning ways with a 20-9 win on the road to Jacksonville. It wasn’t pretty, but wins are wins at this stage and that’s all that matters.
