Is new pass rush drill sign of things to come?

FLOWERY BRANCH — During Falcons minicamp, defensive line coach Bryan Cox broke out a new training exercise.

It was a drill focused on improving player’s flexibility. He had the players working on their hip rotation throughout individual workouts.

The new exercise was geared towards improving the pass rush. The Falcons had 19 sacks last season and ranked among the league’s worst in that category.
