ESPN2's Reds-Braves Opening Day broadcast Thursday night in Atlanta featured the debut of the new "Sunday Night Baseball" team featuring play-by-play announcer Karl Ravech and analysts Eduardo Pérez and David Cone after the New York Yankees' opener was postponed from Thursday to Friday.
Ravech and Pérez already were scheduled to broadcast the game; Cone's YES Network duties would've prevented him from joining them for the first time if the Yankees had played their opener Thursday. Tim Kurkjian was the dugout reporter.
The Reds' Tyler Mahle opposed the Braves' Max Fried at Atlanta's Truist Park.
