MLB Weekly Wrap: Something unique in Spring Training

Games in Spring Training do not always offer top-of-the-line competitiveness, excitement, or overall entertainment, so finding unique happenings within the games is at times a tough task.

But on Friday, the Los Angeles Angels used eight different pitchers to defeat the Seattle Mariners in a run-of-the-mill spring game. The catch was that none of those eight pitchers allowed a hit.

Bud Norris (remember him?), Jose Alvarez, Cam Bedrosian, Andrew Bailey, Austin Adams, Drew Gagnon, Justin Anderson and Abel De Los Santos all made their outings without surrendering a baserunner via base knock.
