Williams Perez takes the mound in game 1 welcoming a Miami Marlins team who just shellacked the Tampa Bay Rays 9-1 last night. Since being sent down to Gwinnett and somehow finding a technical flaw in his mechanics that has allowed him to add a couple MPH to his fastball Perez has been solid against teams from Philadelphia. Last time out he surrendered just a pair of hits over 6.1 innings in the Braves win against the Phillies.
