Keys for Wisler: Competitiveness, command

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- One year after opening as the number three starter in Atlanta's rotation, Matt Wisler has been somewhat of a forgotten figure since he came to this year's Spring Training with the understanding he was likely destined to open the season with Triple-A Gwinnett.

Though he has encountered struggles as a member of Atlanta's rotation within the past two years, Wisler has always been considered a talented and skillful hurler who simply needed to show more of the aggression and mental toughness he displayed while allowing two runs over five innings during Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Mets at First Data Field.
