Aybar day to day with right foot contusion after HBP

ATLANTA -- Braves shortstop Erick Aybar exited Friday night's game against the Marlins after getting hit in the right foot by an Adam Conley pitch. X-rays were negative and he is day to day with a right foot contusion.

Aybar remained on the ground after Conley's 94 mph fastball struck him in the right instep with one out in the fourth inning. The veteran shortstop remained in the game, but he showed some more discomfort as he advanced to second base on Williams Perez's sacrifice bunt.

Daniel Castro replaced Aybar as the Braves' shortstop when the top of the fifth began.
