Almost a month following a very serious car accident, Sean Rodriguez shows up to the Atlanta Braves’ Spring Training facility. The 31-year-old had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff with labrum involvement in his left shoulder on Wednesday as well as to repair a biceps tendon.
Rodriguez will be out for a lengthy amount of time and could be for the entire 2017 season. The Braves haven’t ruled him out for the year and neither has Rodriguez.
He told reporters on Sunday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports “if it were up to me, I’d be trying to play next month.
