Atlanta Braves Minor League Recap: Sanchez and Newcomb dominate

The offense backed Aaron Blair in a big way as Gwinnett ran away with this one 8-4. Blair struggle a bit to throw strikes consistently, but generally limited damage despite the number of runners that reached base. A likely September call-up especially given Rob Whalen’s rumored innings limit, Blair will need to continue to refine command of his fastball to be successful going forward. Jason Hursh had a rocky couple of innings of relief with 3 hits and 2 walks but limited the damage to just a single earned run.

If you had Mel Rojas Jr. and Emilio Bonifacio being the offensive juggernauts in this game, then you are pretty weird but also highly accurate.
