Gwinnett Stripers 6, Durham Bulls 2
Kyle Wright was on again for Gwinnett, going five scoreless innings against the Durham Bulls. Wright allowed five hits and three walks while striking out four, though his command wasn’t perfect as evidence of his 48 strikes to 41 balls on the day. Philip Pfeifer followed, and after some dominant starts he got to come back out of the pen. Pfeifer was touched for a pair of runs on three hits and two walks over an inning and two third, but did strike out four batters.
