Steve Bruce has accused his Aston Villa's players of 'shying away' after more pressure was put on the manager who started this season with Premier League promotion in mind.
A draw and two defeats – the latest against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night – has left Villa second bottom of the Championship.
Now, Bruce has told his players that they are the ones leaving him in this perilous position and the 56-year-old insists he does not have millions to spend to fix it.
