What was it like to come up against Tony Adams?

AC Milan legend Daniele Massaro has fond memories of facing us.

The former striker took centre stage the first time we met the Italian giants in European competition, playing both legs of the 1994 European Supercup.

After a goalless first leg at Highbury, Massaro set up Zvonimir Boban’s second-leg opener at San Siro before heading home from a corner to secure the trophy for the Rossoneri.

We caught up with the 56-year-old at Milan’s club museum ahead of last week’s Europa League last-16 first-leg victory to discuss that game, playing against Tony Adams and his memories of former Rossoneri starlet Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
