Transfer ALERT! Goalkeeper who replaced Petr Cech as Czech Republic’s No.1 tells club he wants Premier League move

Czech Republic international goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik has told Basel he wants to leave them for the Premier League.

The 27-year-old, who has replaced Petr Cech as first choice for his country, recently extended his deal with the Swiss club until 2021 having helped them to their seventh title in a row last season.

But he still makes no secret of his desire to play in the Premier League, with Sunderland a possible destination.

Vaclik revealed: "I love England. I love the culture of the football here and everything around the Premier League - the atmosphere in the stadiums and even out of the stadiums in the cities.
