Senior players and staff at Arsenal want club legend Thierry Henry to be recruited as part of the coaching team to alleviate the pressure on under-fire manager Arsene Wenger.
Henry has cut his teeth the world of coaching, becoming Roberto Martinez's assistant at Belgium and helping them qualify for this year's World Cup.
Not only is Henry a club icon — he is the club's record goal scorer with 228 — but, according to The Mirror, he is highly regarded within the Arsenal squad, with many players calling for him to help their plight.
