Vorm was the standout performer and was unfortunate not to keep a well-deserved clean sheet against Liverpool. The Reds needed a spot-kick to beat the Dutchman but his sweeper-keeper style to stop Sadio Mane plus two reaction saves from Philippe Coutinho proved his capabilities.
Despite starting at centre midfield, Dier moved to full back when Kyle Walker went off with illness and did a fantastic job of keeping out the Liverpool attackers. He also got forward well and provided the cross for which Danny Rose scored the equaliser for Spurs.
