Noelle Maritz has left Arsenal after completing a permanent transfer to Barclays Women’s Super League side Aston Villa.
Noelle joined us from VfL Wolfsburg in July 2020 and made her debut in our UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain in August 2020.
In total, the Swiss full-back made 92 appearances for us, scoring two goals – both of which came against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Fifth Round in January 2021.
Noelle was in the starting line-up when we beat Chelsea 3-1 to win the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup on 5 March 2023, securing our first silverware since 2019.
