Jack Wilshere's World Cup dream has been dealt a huge blow after he failed to travel to Holland for Friday's friendly.

Sportsmail understands the Arsenal midfielder, who trained earlier on Thursday, has not made the trip to Amsterdam after suffering an injury during the session.

Wilshere has not travelled with the rest of Gareth Southgate's squad, who were pictured boarding their plane at Birmingham Airport on Thursday afternoon.
