Burnley keeper Nick Pope will be rewarded for his brilliant form with an England call-up later on Thursday.
The shot-stopper has impressed in Tom Heaton's absence through injury and Gareth Southgate has included the keeper in his squad to face Holland and Italy.
Jack Wilshere is also set to be handed a World Cup lifeline when Southgate names his latest England squad.
Wilshere hasn't played for England since the shocking Euro 2016 defeat to Iceland, while Southgate has not selected the midfielder in any squads since being appointed permanent manager of the national team in November 2016.
