Jamie Vardy is ready to remind Arsenal what they missed out on last summer when Leicester visit the Emirates, according to Craig Shakespeare.
The Leicester striker turned down Arsene Wenger’s £20million approach having won the title and the decision initially appeared questionable as he and his club struggled.
But Vardy has now come through that period to score eight goals in his last 11 games, including Champions League goals against Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal need a victory to reignite hopes for a top four place but Leicester also require points to confirm Premier League safety and Shakespeare is confident Vardy has reaffirmed his pedigree.
